Hola! Sorry for my absence. Eric and I just got back from vaca and I stopped blogging while we were away so we could enjoy the break and our time together… BUT I’m back with lots of new outfit posts/holiday photos, and I can’t wait to share them with you! So if you’ve been following me on Instagram then you’ll know that we spent four days in Mexico, and four days in Utah… the reason being that we can actually never agree on a vacation (we have very different ideas of what it takes to relax). I want a nice warm by-the-beach type holiday and he prefers, well to ski. Anyhow, it actually usually works out pretty well, we both get the vacation we want and we never get restless or bored. The only thing, as I think I mentioned in my last post was that we left Grace for the 8 days, the longest either of us had ever been away from her, and that was definitely hard. She of course had a blast with her Grandparents while we were away, and it was really nice to just have some ‘us’ time. Plus (not that we would have it any other way but) we kind of forgot how easy life can be without kids, or kid. She’s not a naughty baby or anything like that, but it’s just so easy to leave without having to remember extra clothes, water, books, binkys etc. not to have to worry about nap time or a meltdown… it’s just easy! And I think we both really benefitted tom the break.
So anyhow, (off on a tangent there!)… The look above is one I wore quite a few times in Utah. I’d been hankering after the jeans for some time but they’d been sold out in my size for what seemed like forever. I finally saw that they’d been re-stocked a week before we left and I knew I had to have them. They’re a little more than I’d usually like to spend but they are oh so comfortable and for me, a really nice change from my normal super skinny style jeans. I’ve honestly been wearing them non stop ever since I got them. I didn’t take a ton of clothes to Utah knowing that we’d be skiing every day but I did also bring this cardigan (which I know I’ve blogged before) but its just my go-to. it’s the perfect drapy, cozy, wear whenever type cardigan and I love it. And for boots, a pair of Uggs. This is really my only Utah outfit post because literally for the rest of the time I was wearing ski clothes! But I have lots of Mexico posts to come! Stay tuned!xx
