I thought it was time I do a little review on Rocksbox. If you follow my blog and Instagram you’ve probably heard me refer to Rocksbox on many occasion. But it occurred to me that I’ve never fully explained the concept of the company, and, unless you’ve taken the time to investigate it yourself, you wouldn’t really know what it was about. So, I’ll explain how it all works. Rocksbox is a jewelry company that you sign up to for $19 a month. This may seem a little expensive to some but when it allows you to get your hands on hundreds of dollars worth of designer jewelry it’s actually very good value. The company works like this. When you sign up with Rocksbox they have you fill out a questionnaire which gives your designated consultant a better understanding of your taste in jewelry. For example, the form might tell your consultant that you have very classic taste in jewelry, or maybe that you like to make more of a statement with jewelry. After you complete the survey you will be asked whether you’d prefer to receive rings, earrings, bracelets or necklaces, you check and uncheck the boxes as you prefer. Then your consultant will put together three pieces of jewelry for you (your Rocksbox). A box will contain on average $200 worth of jewelry. These pieces will have been handpicked by your consultant or may include pieces you’ve previously added to your wish list. You can check what the stylist put in your box before it’s shipped, or you can leave it a surprise. Either way, when your Rocksbox arrives you can keep the pieces for as long as you want, a couple of days, a couple of months…however long you would like them. Then, when you’re ready for your next set, you simply ship them back (at no cost) for your next box. If you decided however at any point that you’d actually like to purchase any of the pieces in your box, you can in fact buy them at a discounted rate. So, there you have it. That’s how Rocksbox works. It’s a wonderful idea if you’re like me and like to change your jewelry often but don’t necessarily want to shell out the $$ for so many pieces. I really do love the concept of this company and felt compelled to share my experience with you. As a blogger, Rocksbox have given me the promotional code bethanyxoxo1 for my readers to use for their first month for free, so, if you’re interested why not give it a go? You will have your hands on hundreds of dollars worth of up-to-the-minute designer jewelry for next to nothing, it’s pretty exciting! Let me know your thoughts on Rocksbox, do you already use the company? I would love to hear your views.
