One of the fun parts about blogging is that I often get to try new products on the market. A few weeks ago I received a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask by a Brazilian brand called Cadiveu. All three were part of their ‘hair plastic surgery’ range, designed to heal, restore and prevent damage caused by harsh cold weather. Living in New England we’ve had a really cold winter and I had noticed the affect it had had on my hair, not only because of the cold but because of spending a lot of time indoors with central heating too. My hair felt dry and unhealthy and in major need of some TLC. I tried the products feeling a little skeptical, because often with these types of products, my hair comes out looking shiny, but also limp. I usually use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner because my hair is fine and I need a product that gives me a little lift. So, although skeptical I gave the shampoo, conditioner as well as the hair mask a go. I must admit, I did still use my volumizing serum (which I always use) after washing my hair, but I’ll tell you I was more than impressed with the results. My hair not only looked so much healthier and shinier, but it also looked and felt just as volumized as normal and I even had several comments that day on how good it looked. The formula in itself is very light, so although the treatment conditions and hydrates your hair, it does so without weighing it down. I really am so glad I came across this line and will be using the shampoo and conditioner along with the mask (once every week or two) for the rest of the winter. I really couldn’t recommend these products more.
