Woodstock Vermont might be one of my absolute favorite places to visit. In my opinion the town itself is one of the prettiest well kept towns on the East coast. It’s home to the infamous Woodstock Inn, sweet little coffee houses, quaint galleries and shops, and also close to several major ski mountains. Luckily for us its also where my in-laws have a vacation home so we visit often. With that being said I thought it was about time I do a little post on my favorite Northern destination. Eric, Grace and I went up to Woodstock on Boxing Day. We hadn’t left Massachusetts in several months as a family so it was nice to get a little away time over the holiday. The nice thing about Woodstock as I mentioned is that it’s close to several ski mountains and so although we couldn’t all go skiing (Grace isn’t quite old enough yet… but soon!) Eric was able to get up early, get a few runs in and be home for lunch. We decided while we had snow that it might be an idea to try sledding (or tubing as it turned out). As you can probably tell by the pictures, G was not a huge fan, but loved watching daddy tube and of course play with her favorite – Bella, in the snow. This was actually the first time G had really seen snow (I’m sure she didn’t remember it from last year) so it was funny to see her acquaint herself to the unusually cold substance which mostly went in her mouth, and Bella’s – as she fed the snow to her too!
